Dear All,
We are pleased to announce the 2019 BOD Sailing Programme outlining all the events for next year. As ever we have some mini-series racing at the Colne Yacht Club, Brightlingsea , Wivenhoe and Rowhedge Regatta`s and of course the ever popular Pyefleet Week, again running from Sunday to Friday. So plenty of excitement for everyone !
You should also also note that with kind sponsorship from of Geedon Construction Services ( Dan Willett ) and HD Sails that a brand new BOD spinnaker will be drawn out of the hat at the final fling lunch. Each race marked with a spinnaker on the programme will attract one lottery ticket per boat which will go into the draw.
Nick Readings has very generously donated all five of his BOD’s to the BOD Association and it has been decided that Nan and Endeavour will be offered for sale and if anyone is interested they should speak directly to Mark White providing initial expressions of interest. The proceeds of sale from these two boats will then be used to restore the other three other boats which currently require attention. We would like to thank Nick for this incredibly generous offer which will help retain these Brightlingsea One Design’s in Brightlingsea and give us the ability to refurbish others that are currently in a un sailable condition. It is our goal to try and get 25 BOD`s on the water for the Presidents race 2019.
Finally, please note in your diaries that the AGM will be held on the 20th January at the Colne Yacht Club at 11am with a Carvery lunch to follow. Please contact Marianne White at CYC on Tel: 01206 302594 to confirm your lunch booking so we can firm up numbers.

Final Fling always a nice way to finish the year with lunch at the CYC.
