The 2026 regatta season is upon us and we look forward to seeing as many boats as possible participating in the three River Colne regattas. These historic events continue to be a vibrant, fun and highly competitive highlight of our year. The details you will need to participate this year are:

Rowhedge Regatta
Saturday 20 June – start from Batemans Tower at 14.30. Full details including Notice of Race and Sailing instructions, together with the online entry form can be found here. Note there is no entry fee but please do enter online in advance to help the organisers plan moorings, etc,

Wivenhoe Regatta
Saturday 4 July – start from Bateman’s Tower at 12.30. Click here for the details including the BOD Entry Form. Note the entry fee is £10 but this does include drinks and snacks.

Brightlingsea Regatta
Saturday 18 July – start from the BSC Line at 14.00. Note this will be a single all in handicap start, with the BODs racing for the Hickley Tiller.
